5 things I learned working in a design industry for 12 years:

The 5 most obvious, but not that obvious things I learned working in a design industry for 12 years.

Here are 5 things I have learned working in this fast paced industry over a decade.I won't sugarcoat it, it is what it is.

1️.You won't be given a seat at the table if you lack knowledge of marketing and the ability to talk numbers. 📝

2️. Businesses don’t think about building a brand till it’s almost too late, after years of bad design decisions and rely only on paid ads (hint: it’s still not too late! ☝🏻)

3️. Many businesses STILL think great design and powerful brand is not a must have - beeep wrong! 🔴

4️. Small businesses mistakenly believe they can’t afford an art director or/and a brand strategist and waste years before they actually have to hire one 👩🏼💻

5️. B2B businesses predominantly rely on paid leads & ads and a strong sales team. However, it is crucial for them to recognize the lasting importance of building a brand and consider shifting their approach. 📚
